FAQ

Axe Throwing

Can kids throw axes?

Kids must be 12 years old to throw. At our bar locations, kids can throw until 7pm and must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. If making a reservation with kids, make sure the reservation ends by 7pm.

Is Axe Throwing Safe?

Yes! We have coaches that will teach you how to throw and make sure everyone keeps all their fingers and toes!

Please be aware though if you have an neck or shoulder issues, throwing an axe may aggravate them!

I need to change my reservation, can I?

Yes. You can reschedule up to 3 times. If you need to change your date/time please email us at events@hatchethound.com or call 310-421-8450

Is there parking?

Arts District Brewing Company:

A paid parking lot is connected to the brewery. It is small though and can get filled up.

There are other similar lots within a couple of blocks. There is also free street parking.

We recommend on Friday and Saturday nights coming a little early to account for parking.

Brewport Taphouse.

There is street parking surrounding the bar. There is also a paid lot within a couple of blocks.

I'm planning a larger event, is there space?

Yes! Brewport can hold 75 people outside and over 200 throughout their entire bar/restaurant.

Arts District Brewing can hold 100 people outside and over 300 throughout their bar/restaurant.

If you are planning a large event, please contact us.

How much time should I book for team events?

If you have 10 people and under 1 hour is usually fine to allow everyone a chance to learn to throw and play multiple games.

For 10 and over we recommend 2 hours. Most of our team events also like to eat and drink while they throw, so two hours allows for a more relaxed yet fun time!

Is there food and drink?

Yes. Both locations offer full menus as well as catering. Our Arts District location has a full bar while our El Segundo location features beer, wine and seltzers.
